Behr and Hella have for as long as I have sold their parts, over 33 years, been standards in the industry as Original Equipment suppliers to the European Automotive Manufacturing industry. Now that they have joined hands in this A/C and Climate control service parts joint venture I see only good things. I have always had the greatest satisfaction in selling both Behr and Hella products, and have the utmost confidence in their quality and fit. I have seen Behr Hella A/C receiver driers manufactured in China that looked, fit and operated like the original German versions. As long as Behr and Hella are in control of the process, the country of origin is of little consequence, in my book!
When the choice of a Behr Hella Service part is offered and an OEM supplied part at a higher price is supplied, I recommend the Behr Hella Part and feel you will have the fit and service of an OEM part at a much lower price.
Behr Hella Service, a North American joint venture for thermal management between Behr (vehicle air conditioning and engine cooling) and Hella (lighting technology and electronics) is now able to provide the U.S. after-market. The joint venture offers a single source of supply for a comprehensive range of air conditioning and engine cooling parts for European cars and heavy duty trucks, as well as select parts for Japanese and Korean passenger cars.
As announced in the media, Behr, a vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling specialist, and Hella, an automotive supplier of components and systems for lighting technology and electronics, will jointly handle the global independent after-market for vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling. The new joint venture combines the independent aftermarket activities of Behr Service and the air-conditioning business of the Hella after-market organization.
