Comments: I am not that familiar with the Bendix brand, but they have been around for a long time and are OE suppliers to domestic and European car manufacturers. Thier reputation of quality is strong and well deserved. I can not recommend one way or the other regarding Bendix brake pads or other products, because I just do not have any experience selling them. I can say that because of the company's long history of quality and OE supply to the car manufacturers that I am confident that their products will be oe-quality, fit and service. While this innovator’s earliest automotive interest prompted him to a career in car manufacturing, extreme competition quickly pushed him out of the market. He became determined, however, to solve the problem associated with starting automobile engines at the time and soon saw success with his invention of the starter drive in 1911. Bendix advertised it as "the mechanical hand that cranks your car." Bendix is part of a large list of companies including Autolite, Fram, Prestone, Allied Friction, Honeywell friction materials.
