I began selling parts for the European automotive market in 1975 for an importer of German parts, mainly for Mercedes cars. I saw large cases of FAG bearings coming in and being sold. As the original equipment supplier Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen and more, FAG was the bearing of choice. I sold axle bearings, wheel bearings, generator and alternator bearings.
