I have no real experience with InterValves SA, however I am finding that in some cases, and increasingly so, the alternate products, like Ate, are becoming NLA. With this being the case, in good to see that some of those applications are being filled by another quality company.

Friction welding for bimetallic valves
Hard facing of the seat area by PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc)
Hard facing of valve stem end
Induction hardening of stem end with automatic temperature control. In cases of three-grooved valves this process takes place before the groves are ground
Induction hardening of the seat area
Chrome plating of the valve stem
