Meyle products are a seeming new comer on the scene, compared to my 40 years of parts, and 33 years of selling parts for European cars. I will say though that some of my experience with Meyle has been mixed. I found that they manufacture products in a wide range of countries including Turkey. I have seen far too many Meyle steering parts fail to ever recommend them. Basically the rubber boot on tie rod ends and ball joints begins to break down very quickly leaking the grease out and ending in the failure of the part in only a year or two.

Most of the other Meyle products have faired well, but given my experience, I would choose another brand if there were a choice, especially if the other choices are OEM. To my knowledge Meyle does not supply ANY parts to the automotive manufacturers as original equipment, and anyone that says that Meyle is an OE or OEM supplier should be questioned on that!

With that said, I have seen and heard that last few years have brought a lot of improvement in Meyle products and they are aggressively fixing any problems that have existed in the past. Their "Meyle HD" line of products does appear to offer superior serviceability over even the OE and OEM part.

The bottom line is that if not choice is offered, please contact me for the price of the Genuine part, or another suppliers part. Meyle products do carry a full 1-year warranty.
