I have without a doubt sold more Textar "Yellow Box" brake pads than any other brand, and for a reason. I refer to the Textar pad set as Yellow Box because that is what they have come to be known as. There are a plethora of comments on the web concerning the properties of the Textar pads, but I will stick to my experience. The Textar Yellow Box pads are not the same as the OE Textar from the dealer. The compound is a European compound and is not the same as the USA one. The Textar Yellow Box pads retain the original brake pedal feel and braking characteristics, but last longer and dust less than the OE Textar or other OEM compound pads. When normal proper precautions are taken during installation, like using OE Mercedes anti squeal paste, the Textar pads rarely have a squealing problem.

All in all, the Textar pads have been the easiest for me to recommend because they last longer, dust less and don't squeal, all that with an OE pedal feel and braking characteristic.
